The story of magic TrollTears from Norway

Stump, the forest troll, and his magical tears is the Norwegian legend/folk tale of how the troll lost his beautiful wife Viola, to the Swedish troll Jokke on their wedding day. All that was left of the bride, was her wedding veil. The veil turned to a waterfall and can still be seen today on the border between Norway and Sweden.

Viola managed to trick Jokke to be released, and the tears of joy that viola and stump cried when reunited was cried out of true love. Stump tried to hide their tears under the trees of the forest, but after many years, the tears crystallised to stones, and can be found inside the Norwegian forest.

The whole fairytale about Stump and the magic trolltears can be found at Amazon, https://goo.gl/QW34am

The Bridal Veil can be seen today from Teveltunet facing Sweden. PWelcome to Meråker, Norway.

The Trolls are proud creatures, so Stubbe hid his tears under trees in the Norwegian woods, so no one should see him cry. When the autumn storms blows old trees over in Meråker, you can occasionally find Stubbes tears that have turned into white crystal stones. If you hold a troll tear in your hand, you still feel a strong love that last forever.
